Belton Woods Hotel & Golf Resort
England, UK
Opened by Prince Charles in 1992, the Belton Woods Hotel is set alongside a lake within 475 acres of the gentle Lincolnshire countryside. With two 18 hole courses and the 17th century National Trust property, Belton House, all on site, Belton Hall is a delightful place to visit for a golfing break.
The rooms are well furnished with all the facilities you would expect. There are family rooms available as well as Executive rooms and for those who would like a bit more pampering, each of the suites is unique with some having a marble bathroom with whirlpool bath.
Dining here is a pleasure with Stanton’s Brasserie offering an a la carte menu of British classics prepared from the best of local ingredients and the Sunday Carvery is especially popular. The clubhouse offers a more relaxed place to eat and drink at the 19 Café Bar, serving light meals and snacks in the day and grills at night.
The Spa and Fitness suite offer a wide range of treatments and exercise classes as well as an indoor pool so that you can relax after a day on the course and there are a number of alternative activities if you prefer. The grounds are wonderful and just beg to be explored and, of course, you must visit Belton House itself.
With two 18 hole courses on site, golfers will enjoy a wonderful break at Belton Hall.
